Guinness World Records 2018
Al Otaiba Enterprises Company, based in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, drew and implemented the largest picture of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may God rest his soul) using Arabic coffee cups for the same number of days of the Emirates Union (16,790 days) from 1971 until this year. Which coincides with the 46th anniversary of the National Day of the State, and thus the painting is considered the largest in the world after breaking the previous record of
(Le Meridien Cyberport) Hotel at the 2015 International Food and Drink Exhibition in Hong Kong by executing a painting with a number of (8888) cups.
Al Otaiba Enterprises Company obtained a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records for executing and drawing the largest painting in the world made of coffee cups.
Al Otaiba Projects Company designed the painting using Arabic coffee cups due to its importance in the Arab culture, as coffee is a symbol of generosity among the Arabs. It was designed and implemented inside the labor city of Labotel in Abu Dhabi, which is owned by Al Otaiba Projects, and in conjunction with this event and approaching the winter season, projects Al Otaiba donated 4,600 blankets to the Emirates Red Crescent to support refugees and the needy around the world.
His Excellency Otaiba bin Saeed Al Otaiba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Otaiba Projects Company, said: “Today we celebrate the 46th anniversary of the National Day of the United Arab Emirates. Union with his brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, rulers of the Emirates.
Al-Otaiba added: "We extend our congratulations and blessings on this dear and dear occasion to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, rulers of the Emirates.
Al-Otaiba stated that this painting, which was implemented by the Al-Otaiba group of projects, comes in appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan - may his soul rest in peace - in building the Union of the Emirates and achieving progress and growth for our beloved country in various fields and sectors.
He pointed out that the painting consists of 16,790 Cubans with the number of days of the union since its establishment until today, and it was formed and implemented as part of the efforts of the employees of the Al-Otaiba Projects Company to break the previous record recorded in Hong Kong and set a new record added to the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Otaiba expressed his happiness and pleasure that Al-Otaiba Group Company obtained a certificate from the Guinness Book of World Records for the implementation of the painting, explaining that obtaining this certificate is a qualitative addition to the UAE among the most important and prominent works being implemented globally.
